State and federal agencies sometimes offer financial incentives to encourage homeowners to upgrade their heating equipment for greater energy savings. The Delaware Valley Fuel Dealers Association tracks government incentives and provides comprehensive information on this page. At this time there are no incentives available for new Oilheat equipment from either the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the United States government.
The Commonwealth operates the Energy Star® State Appliance Rebate Program that provides rebates to consumers who upgrade to qualifying equipment, but the program has been out of funds since July 20, 2011.
The U.S. Department of Energy operated a tax credit program to promote heating system upgrades: Tax Credit Program.
While government tax credits and rebate programs may be unavailable, it is still possible to receive low-interest financing. Visit the Keystone HELP website to learn about Home Energy Loan Program.
